[TSYS] Sales Strategy Consultant

This position involves analysing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and optimising sales processes to enhance efficiency and performance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Sales Strategy Consultant ensures alignment between sales initiatives and business goals. The role will also entail assessing new markets, either geographic or vertical, to assess TSYS’ desirability and ability to enter those markets based on market research, business case development and senior executive buy-in Additionally, this role entails providing strategic insights to senior management to inform the decision-making process around new initiatives and propositions. Adept at both strategic thinking and tactical execution, the Sales Strategy Consultant is essential for achieving sustainable growth and competitive advantage. Responsibilities - Develop and refine market specific sales strategies to help TSYS achieve revenue targets. - Analyze market trends and competitor profiles. - Collaborate with sales teams to create and implement market development plans. - Assess sales strategies using data analytics. - Provide training and support to sales personnel around specific sales content / processes. - Develop market and buyer persona specific value propositions - Align promotional activities with sales goals in collaboration with marketing. - Prepare detailed sales performance and strategy reports for senior management aligned to the budget tracking (i.e. Wave initiatives). - Assess key sales metrics and KPIs to derive insights on potential sales improvements. - Identify new markets and customer segments. - Facilitate cross-functional collaboration for cohesive market development plan execution. - Participate in sales meetings with prospects and clients. - Contribute to the management of the sales strategy budget. - Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends. - Implement new technologies or software to enhance sales strategy, i.e. leveraging AI. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years experience in sales strategy, sales management, or a related role. - Experience with the payments and / or card industry is preferable - Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategies around sales / commercial / growth activities. - Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis. - Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools. - Strong understanding of market trends and competitive analysis. - Exceptional communication and presentation skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and at senior levels - Experience in training and coaching sales.business development teams. - Strong organizational and project management skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. - Experience in developing pricing strategies. - Familiarity with the latest sales technologies and software. - Willingness to travel as needed. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Strong customer relationship management skills. - Experience in budget preparation and management.
