The Opportunity:
As an Operational Specialist in Treasury & AR, you will play a vital role within our Finance Shared Service Center. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial transactions while supporting the broader Treasury and Accounts Receivable functions. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is committed to continuous process improvement.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Operational Execution: Coordinate and support stringent financial tasks, including daily bank postings, interface controls, manual corrections, and the reconciliation of bank and bank suspense balance sheet accounts.
AR & Treasury Management: Execute customer direct debit payments, cash allocation, and the clearing of AR and bank suspense accounts. You will be responsible for posting and reconciling treasury and AR transactions.
Accounting & Compliance: Perform day-to-day activities according to agreed service levels and SOPs. This includes AR manual invoicing, GL journal posting, account reconciliations, and FX revaluation.
Reporting & Communication: Manage intercompany reconciliation and reporting. You will handle incoming calls and emails from stakeholders in a timely, professional manner.
Team Collaboration: Proactively seek opportunities for effective cooperation across teams and geographies. Provide support to team members to balance workloads and foster a positive team environment.
Continuous Improvement: Propose process and system improvements and contribute to the overall performance of the Shared Service Center (SSC) through active participation in workshops and meetings.
Who you are:
You are a finance professional with a solid understanding of accounting processes, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to work effectively with limited direction.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Education: University or College degree, with a concentration in Finance or Accounting.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Finance and Accounting.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Finance Shared Services and operational accounting processes. Knowledge of technology systems such as SAP and BlackLine is highly desired.
Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Proficiency in Portuguese and/or French is a plus.
Skills: * Strong ability to prioritize and organize work to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage up effectively.
High level of integrity and commitment to complying with corporate guidelines.
