The Opportunity:
Roche Services Americas is one of the Roche Shared Services Centers worldwide providing Finance, Procurement services to various countries in the Americas region.
As the Treasury Analyst for the RSS Americas in Costa Rica, you will execute daily Treasury operational activities, ensuring adherence to agreed service levels and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the respective business sub-process. Your role also involves continuously contributing to the improvement of the RSS performance and proposing process and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
You will coordinate and perform complete, stringent, and timely financial tasks, which include:
Daily Cash Management and Posting: Execute daily bank posting, control interfaces, perform manual corrections, and handle the timely posting and reconciliation of treasury transactions.
Reconciliation and Clearing: Complete the reconciliation of bank and bank suspense Balance Sheet (B/S) accounts and ensure all bank account clearings are performed accurately.
Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct cash flow analysis and control, perform Intercompany reconciliation and reporting, and manage FX revaluation and other required reporting activities.
Operational Support and Communication: Efficiently handle all incoming calls and emails in a timely manner.
Collaboration and Team Environment: Proactively seek opportunities for effective cooperation between team members, regardless of country or functional assignments.
Compliance and Flexibility: Display high integrity, comply with all Roche guidelines, and perform various assignments in a flexible manner as business needs warrant
Who you are:
Experience: 3-5 years of finance and accounting experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related area required.
A solid understanding of accounting processes.
Strong ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated communication and customer service skills.
Language: English & Spanish required; Portuguese and/or French preferred.
