Travel Staff Accountant I

Travel Accounting & Transaction Management 

• Oversee customer passthrough processing related to patient travel and related invoicing process 

• Review, prepare and/or post all travel journal entries in NetSuite 

• Review monthly Connex revenue file and accrual 

• Manage and ensure accuracy of GL accounts associated with travel 

• Reconciliation of travel product data to general ledger 

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and issues as they arise 

• Prepare monthly travel reporting for management 

• Provide support for audit requests from external and internal auditors 

• Assist with special projects and other ad-hoc duties as assigned 

• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for travel-related accounts. 

• Investigate and resolve internal and external inquiries regarding travel account discrepancies. 

• Partner cross-functionally with Travel Services, Operations and Customer Success teams to resolve transaction issues and ensure financial accuracy. 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required 

• Solid understanding of general ledger systems and financial charts of accounts, and corporate accounting procedures. 

• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and a results-driven mindset. 

• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. 

• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. 

• High attention to detail and accuracy. 

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. 

• Advanced Excel proficiency, including experience with VLOOKUP’s and PivotTables. 

• Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
