Job Title: Travel and Expense Specialist
Department and Team: Global Expense Management (GEM), Travel and Expense

Reports To: Travel and Expense Team Lead
Location: Manila (Flexible)

Job Summary:
The Travel and Expense Specialist plays a key role in supporting global Travel and Expense operations across North America, APAC, and EMEA. Reporting to the Travel and Expense Team Lead, this individual contributor role is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing of employee expense claims while contributing to the overall performance and service levels of the Expense Management team.

The role partners closely with employees, people managers, and cross-functional teams including Procure to Pay, Controllers, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, and Internal Audit. This position operates in a fast-paced environment, particularly during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close periods, and requires strong organization, communication, and prioritization skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, audit, and process employee travel and expense claims to ensure compliance with global Travel and Expense policies and accuracy of submitted information
  • Process expense reimbursements efficiently using the company’s Expense Reimbursement System while meeting defined service level agreements and KPIs
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on expense-related questions and policy interpretation
  • Develop, update, and maintain documentation related to expense reimbursement processes, including standard operating procedures and training materials
  • Support the implementation of system enhancements, policy updates, and procedural changes related to expense management
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across Finance, Payroll, Tax, Treasury, and business units to resolve issues and improve end-to-end expense processes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Open to fresh graduates or candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience in Travel and Expense, Finance Operations, or a related function
  • Experience using SAP Concur (administrator or processor role) is a plus
  • Experience with Workday is an advantage
  • Exposure to processing expenses across multiple global locations is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong attention to detail with a consistent and accurate approach to work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage high volumes of work in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Adaptability and openness to change in a dynamic operational environment
  • Flexibility to work day or mid shifts as required
