Job Details:
Department: Janitorial/Waste water
Job Description: This person is responsible for work at the recycle center.
Requirements:
· Will sort trash into the correct categories such as paper, cardboard, plastic and trash.
· Must be able to operate compactor to compact trash, wrap, and place onto proper disposal unit as directed.
· This position will require to ability to operate forklift to move bundles to be disposed.
Qualifications:
Manipulations of hands, arms, fingers, legs, feet to be able to climb onto and off forklift frequently during shift and to operate hand/off controls lifting product containers to transfers to storage, remove trash to compactor. Push/pull hand jack and power jacks with pallets of product or tote bins of product, ice etc. Back shoulder to operate forklift use hand/power jacks, load and unload product, pusch/pull totes. Must meet essential function of the job.
Equipment: Aprons, gloves, hairnets/beard nets

Environment:
Work inside and out of facility, noisy, wet floors, adequate lighting, moving objects, mechanical and electrical hazards. Temperatures at or below 50 degrees. Adequate lighting and ventilation. Sanitizing solutions in water and hand sanitizers.
Must be able to operate jack and forklift
