Job Description:
Job Objectives
The job holder will be responsible for driving change within HR team, drum beating transversal projects within the HR team, supporting Head of HR, APAC to track and manage team objectives & performances, as well as build up team spirit & culture.
Job Holder will work both independently on projects, from conception to completion, and in transversal teams; be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
Job Holder will use strong organizational skills and written and verbal communication, to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, along with the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
Job Holder makes the preparation of dossiers, documents, documentations, scorecards etc. for the management and/or other relevant bodies, ensuring that the information based on the data is understandable, updated, consistent, synthesized, available and archived.
The job holder is also responsible for the Ethics & Compliance topics and cases for East Asia to support Airbus' Ethics & Compliance goals in the Region.
Job Holder will partner with stakeholders across various functions and countries to provide both consultative and transactional support to deliver a comprehensive and value-added service.
Job Responsibilities
HR Transformation and Project Management:
Ensure tracking of HR team objectives / performances / dashboard to support Head of HR, APAC to drum beat team activities
Identify regional transversal projects and track delivery / milestone etc
Act as regional HR focal point for global wide HR projects in close collaboration with central HRs
Identify improvement needs from different HR functions/countries
Base on needs, set-up project team
Drum beat and track project progress and deliveries
Understand clear and strategically aligned business requirements for APAC, to determine the support, tools, templates and frameworks developed for use and a knowledge bank of information to allow the wider HR team to support the business
Build best in class employee experience in close collaboration with all people managers and HR teams including design, develop and execute innovative people processes, to maximize the potential and ongoing success across the business lines
Drum beat external communication with central / business functions:
Issue monthly regional report for HI and other meeting / events whenever necessary to ensure clear communication with central business functions in regards of HR activities
Issue quarterly Regional Newsletter and distribute to top management across the region in order to promote HR activities
Drum beat internal communication within the regional team:
Organization of regional HR meeting and secure regular communication remotely
Organization of regional HR Week twice a year, during which:
Cascade/exchange on important information
Establish team objectives / R&R
Up-skilling on HR team
Support in the organization of ad-hoc event relating to Development's activities when necessary (e.g Upskilling workshop, HR Regional Focus Review)
Cultivate team spirit
Carry out background research and presenting recommendation proposals as basis for the decision-making of Head of HR, APAC
Take initiative in the short absence of the Head of HR, APAC, coordinate and delegate work to others when necessary
Lead special projects with the delegation of the Head of HR, APAC
Travel frequently for business trips when necessary
Personal Assistant
Manage incoming information, enquiries, requests, down cascading or escalating and launching actions when appropriate
Draft documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations according to ad-hoc demands
Prioritize, update and chase delegated tasks to ensure progress to deadlines by putting preliminary work in play and keeping projects on schedule
Provide smooth communication between the Head of HR, APAC, business, and HR community; demonstrate leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff
Research, prioritize, and follow upon incoming issues and concerns addressed to the Human resource organization, including those of sensitive or confidential nature
Act as a "barometer”, having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the Head of HR, APAC updated
Assist in coordinating specific meeting attendance or attending on behalf of the Head of HR, APAC
Secondary Responsibilities
Ethics & Compliance Representative - Human Resources
Promote an E&C culture, including Values, Code of Conduct and Speak up
Support the deployment of the E&C programme
Be a point of contact within the East Asia business for anyone who would like to raise an E&C question or concern
Facilitate briefing sessions and workshops for Southeast Asia managers & employees on E&C matters
Support managers in translating E&C strategy into concrete actions
Liaise with Legal & Compliance to identify and mitigate E&C risks
Handle E&C cases or escalate to Legal & Compliance any inquiry or alert that may require their assistance to launch specific investigation
Assist in the deployment of company-wide E&C yearly objectives
