We currently have an opportunity to join Bunnings as a People and Culture Partner. As part of the People & Culture team in our West Division, you will work in a small but dynamic team providing support, guidance and HR business advice and partnership to our leaders.

As a People & Culture Partner, you will work closely with senior leaders to deliver practical, commercial and people‑centred solutions. You’ll play a hands‑on role in embedding our people strategy, lifting leadership capability, and strengthening workforce outcomes across a geographically dispersed and operationally complex environment.

This is a true partnering role – balancing strategic influence with on‑the‑ground support. You will have access to various Centres of Excellence to drive and deliver great people outcomes and solutions for your stakeholder groups.

Bunnings offers a hybrid, flexible working environment. While the role will be based in Perth (Rivervale), there will be a requirement to travel across our store network in WA, therefore a valid Driver's Licence is required.

What's involved:

  • Partner with senior leaders across the West portfolio to deliver end‑to‑end people solutions aligned to business priorities
  • Coach and support leaders in performance, talent, engagement, and employee relations matters
  • Lead and embed key people initiatives including diversity and inclusion, talent reviews, workforce planning and capability uplift
  • Use people insights and data to inform decision‑making and drive continuous improvement
  • Act as a trusted partner, building strong relationships across stores, support teams and stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and ensure compliance with relevant legislative, policy and process requirements.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a People & Culture Partner or HR Business Partner role
  • Strong ER capability with the confidence to navigate complex and sensitive matters
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to balance people outcomes with business performance
  • Comfortable working autonomously across a large geographic remit
  • Trusted, credible and relationship‑driven, with a practical and grounded approach
  • Passionate about developing leaders and creating positive team experiences.

You’ll thrive in a fast‑paced environment, bringing energy and agility while actively contributing to a positive workplace culture.

You’ll need:

  • A tertiary qualification in HR, Law, business, Commerce, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline (preferred)
  • Proven experience working in a HR business partner or HR Advisor role, ideally within a multi-site organisation (3 years minimum preferred)
  • Sound knowledge of Australian employee relations legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A track record of taking initiative and achieving pragmatic outcome

You’ll be part of a workplace where you’ll feel like you belong.
