Keenova Transportation & Distribution oversees an expansive network of logistics activity originating at both internal and external facilities. The department charter is to ensure the efficient and compliant movement of goods ensuring our complex life-saving therapies are delivered with utmost quality and without delay. Our product portfolio spans multiple therapeutic areas and geographies that necessitate unique solutions serviced by reliable, qualified, and contracted logistics service providers (LSPs).
The Transportation Analyst will focus on domestic and international transportation operations, carrier/LSP performance management, and good distribution practices (GDPs). The scope of the role encompasses end-to-end transportation (inbound, outbound, customer freight, intercompany, etc.) Define and implement innovative, lean, and technology-enabled solutions. In a collaborative and cross-functional manner, drive year-on-year cost containment and service improvement projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Process lead for lean transportation execution
Primary interface to internal/external shipping sites for transportation-related support, issues and projects
Develop strong, trustworthy, and transparent working relationships with logistics service providers
Develop and monitor carrier performance and process-level metrics (on-time delivery, missed pick-ups, etc.)
Establish and manage relationships with shipping sites and personnel. Provide training, guidance, and support colleagues on standardized transportation processes
Maintain routing guides and measure compliance
Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies including but not limited to DOT, IATA, IMDG, ICAO
Ensure temperature-controlled logistics network is operating at 100% compliance
Maintain working knowledge life sciences/pharmaceuticals transport-related quality regulations and guidance
Maintain working knowledge of temperature-controlled logistics solutions and shipping systems
Define a standard methodology and process for LSP, transport lane, and shipping system qualifications
Author and maintain policies, SOPs, and work instructions including maintenance in the respective QMS
Maintain working knowledge of each product’s supply chain processes and the employee’s functional role within those integrated supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
3 years of relevant experience, or combination of work and educational equivalent
Experience in transport modes of surface, air, ocean, rail freight execution and rates
Preferred Skills
ERP, TMS, WMS experience
Experience preparing and analyzing RFI/RFPs
Familiarity of transportation-related EDI transaction sets
Experience in managing budgets
Experience in pharmaceutical/medical device or other GxP industry
Effective organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deliverables while working in a team environment
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to build interpersonal relationships in a patient-focused matrixed organization
Organizational Relationship/Scope:
Reports to Manager, Transportation & Logistics
Working Conditions:
Office-based role with periodic travel (~10%).
Possible visits to vendor and warehouse facilities

The expected base pay range for this position is $68K - $85K. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
This position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable program. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion.
