About the role

  • Lead and manage financial due diligence engagements across M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side due diligence
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients
  • Oversee quality control processes to ensure all deliverables meet the highest professional standards
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during engagements, managing expectations and building lasting relationships
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering their technical and professional development
  • Originate new transaction services opportunities through proactive relationship building with private equity firms, corporate clients, financial and legal advisors
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking functions
  • Collaborate with other service lines to identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Prepare proposals and pitch presentations for prospective clients
  • Maintain a strong network of referral sources and actively cultivate new relationships

About You

  • Strong experience in Transaction Services with a proven track record in financial due diligence
  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Demonstrable experience leading complex due diligence engagements across various industries and deal sizes
  • Strong technical accounting and financial analysis skills
  • Experience in business development and deal origination with a track record of winning new clients
  • Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to identify key value drivers and transaction risks
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Leadership qualities with experience managing and developing teams
  • High attention to detail combined with strategic thinking ability
