Job Description Summary

We are seeking a Transaction Manager to join our Integrated Portfolio Management team. This role is a negotiation expert in commercial real estate across office, retail, and industrial asset types. You will work closely with clients, landlords, to secure favourable market transactions while supporting the operations of our Transaction Management service line.

As a property market expert in your region, you will negotiate on behalf of one or multiple client portfolios, ensuring strategic outcomes and best‑in‑class service delivery.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • New Sites: Research markets, conduct RFP/EOI processes, site inspections, negotiate Heads of Agreement, and finalise lease documentation.

  • Renewals & Options: Review lease information, market evidence, and negotiate favourable terms for renewals and option exercises.

  • Make Good & Surrenders: Confirm requirements, negotiate scope or settlements, liaise with Facilities/Projects teams, and manage site terminations.

  • Market Reviews: Conduct strategic analysis, prepare market evidence, and negotiate rent reviews.

  • Revenue Tenant Search: Liaise with agents, initiate marketing plans, and negotiate proposals.

  • General: Uphold Cushman & Wakefield values, comply with health, safety, and environmental policies, and collaborate across teams to deliver full‑service solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in transactional leasing within commercial real estate

  • Proven success in property and leasing negotiations

  • Strong market knowledge within your geographical area

  • Ability to build positive, lasting professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels

Qualifications & Skills

  • Tertiary qualification in real estate or business (preferred)

  • Real Estate Agent License or Agent’s Representative (state‑specific)

  • Advanced negotiation accreditation desirable

  • Strong financial acumen, problem‑solving, and influencing skills

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and business writing abilities

  • Proficiency in systems and data management
