Training Specialist – Santa Ana, Costa Rica

You’ll work closely with experts within the business to create, develop and update training materials on various compliance topics. You’ll gather feedback which will then be used as the starting point for identifying opportunities for us to improve the training that is being provided. In your role, you will lead training related projects and internal committee meetings and will be asked to present directly to the upper management team from time to time with a focus on the following:

Role Responsibilities

  • Facilitate planning and delivery of new hire training, up-skilling, cross-skilling, and refresher training through different methodologies across various communication channels.
  • Provide training support for projects and initiatives. This includes attending project calls, participating in demos, providing training recommendations,
  • Responsible for organizing and delivering training programs, schedules and related materials to ensure training sessions meet business requirements.
  • The position works closely with subject matter experts to create, develop and update training materials and curricula as needed to ensure consistent, quality training deliverables.
  • Gathers and consolidates feedback on training programs to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Create and maintain clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation (policies, procedures, job aids, manuals).
  • Ensure documentation complies with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Regularly review and update materials to reflect process changes.

Role Requirements

  • Knowledge in transaction monitoring and typology related understanding is a must.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Compliance required.
  • English proficiency
  • Intermediate/advanced system skills including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Forms.
  • Attention to detail and highly effective planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrates initiative, and exercise judgment in fast paced and changing environment
  • Experience with facilitating adult learning methodologies, learning evaluation models, and Classroom Management.
  • Great interpersonal skills in dealing with a diverse population.
