Why this role matters

As a Training Leader, you are responsible for leading a team of training specialists. This includes driving the performance and continuous development of the training team, ensuring that all training initiatives are effective and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. This role focuses on leading a high-performing team of trainers, improving knowledge and skills for client-facing employees in a fast-evolving industry, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Training Leader oversees the design, delivery, and optimization of training programs related to Exness products, services, and industry-relevant competencies. The Training Leader is responsible for team initiatives targeted at skills identification and definition, skill standards and measurement, skill gap identification and development, as well as skill evaluation.

The role is based in our office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.

What you'll actually do
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Engage with stakeholders across departments to gather insights and define the essential skills required for client-facing roles.
  • Define Skills for Strategic Alignment: Lead initiatives that establish skill sets necessary for client-facing employees, aligning these with company and industry standards, especially around Exness products, CFD trading basics, and relevant soft skills.
  • Facilitate Team Involvement: Ensure trainers are involved in the skill identification process to better understand client needs and identify any potential skill requirements for their teams.
  • Develop Skill Standards: Define measurable standards for each identified skill on the skill matrix with relevant job related examples, in alignment with company goals, industry best practices, and product requirements.
  • Facilitate Team Involvement: Ensure trainers are involved in the skill standard & measurement process to better understand any misalignment between departments and rectify them.
  • Identify and Address Gaps: Work with the Training SMEs and TLs to continuously identify skill gaps by analyzing feedback, performance data, and assessment results, ensure trainers are developing targeted training content to bridge these gaps.
  • Develop Improvement Action Plans: Collaborate with SMEs to create action plans addressing skill development needs and implement them through structured training sessions and tailored content.
  • Engage in Continuous Development: Foster a learning culture that promotes ongoing skill enhancement among trainers, ensuring their expertise remains aligned with company standards and trends.
  • Implement Assessment Methods: Track and assess the impact of training through participant evaluations, skill assessments, and post-training behavioral change analysis, ensuring they meet defined skill standards.
  • Monitor Training Effectiveness: Regularly gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders and trainees to gauge the relevance and success of training programs in meeting skill development goals.
  • Recruit, mentor, and guide trainers, conducting regular performance appraisals, setting clear objectives, and implementing development plans for continuous growth and ensuring their professional growth and competence
  • Foster a dynamic and engaging learning culture that promotes continuous development and a high-performance mindset across the team.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between training programs and organizational needs, maintaining open channels for feedback and improvement.
  • Regularly gather and integrate feedback from Quality Assurance, Knowledge Management, and Learning & Development teams to close knowledge gaps and improve training outcomes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively communicate training goals, and negotiate solutions that align with company priorities.
  • Oversee the design and optimization of training content for new hires and current employees, ensuring it stays updated with product and industry advancements.
  • Contribute to larger TQA initiatives, supporting areas like Quality Assurance and Knowledge Management to improve overall training quality and effectiveness.
  • Calibrate Training Audits: Regularly audit training sessions to ensure trainers deliver content to established standards; include calibration between auditors to ensure uniformity across training sessions, even those in different languages.

Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. Certified TTT
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior Training Specialist, or 3 years of people leadership experience with a proven track record in designing and delivering effective training programs.
  • CMT certification is an advantage
  • Project management certification is an advantage
  • Management training is an advantage
  • Strong report writing and record keeping ability.
  • Attention to detail, strong problem resolution skills, and strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizing abilities and process-oriented work style
  • Ability to identify potential and to develop strategic thinking.
  • High adaptability to change.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to listen, communicate, influence stakeholders and employees at all levels with ability to build strong relationships and credibility with clients and employees.
