Role Summary:
As an Import & Export Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with logistics requirements for import and export operations across a multi-unit area within the region. Your role will include international procurement activities, manage end-to-end import and export processes, and implementing and executing logistics strategies tailored to each location.
You will also be responsible for maintaining strategic relationships with key logistics suppliers, aiming to maximize Flowserve’s resources and ensure excellence in customer experience from order placement through final delivery.
Responsibilities:
Execute and monitor import and export processes, ensuring compliance with Brazilian customs legislation and international regulations.
Plan, coordinate, and track international logistics operations, ensuring delivery timelines, cost control, and service quality.
Perform international purchasing activities, including supplier negotiation, cost analysis, and full acquisition cycle management.
Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with the needs of multiple business units and different locations.
Monitor and optimize logistics flows, proposing continuous improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Maintain strategic relationships with logistics providers (carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers), ensuring a high level of service.
Follow up on customs clearance processes, ensuring proper HS/NCM classification, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
Manage special customs regimes (such as Drawback, RECOF, and Bonded Warehouse), ensuring correct application and control.
Track international shipments (ocean, air, road, and multimodal), ensuring visibility and risk mitigation.
Prepare and analyze management reports and logistics KPIs to support decision-making.
Work closely with internal departments (Tax, Sales, Production Planning, among others) to ensure process alignment and efficiency.
Ensure excellence in the customer experience from order entry through final delivery.
Identify and mitigate operational risks, proposing agile and effective solutions when deviations occur.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, International Relations, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
Advanced English proficiency for written and verbal communication with suppliers and global teams. Spanish is a plus.
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in international logistics, import/export operations, and/or international procurement.
Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and Brazilian customs regulations.
Experience with import and export processes, including HS/NCM classification, DUIMP, customs clearance, licenses, and special regimes such as Drawback, RECOF, and Bonded Warehouse.
Experience in international procurement, including supplier development, follow-up, freight negotiation, and total landed cost analysis.
Advanced Excel skills.
Knowledge of international freight modalities: ocean (FCL/LCL), air, international road transport, and multimodal logistics.
Strong analytical profile with the ability to interpret critical data and generate concise management reports.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and work under tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interface with suppliers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal teams such as Tax, Sales, and Production Planning.
Strong customer focus (internal and external) with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
Ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Spanish proficiency is a plus.
