The Trade Marketing Executive will develop and implement a Trade Marketing strategy that aligns with both global brand directives and local market dynamics, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with Key Account Managers, Head of Wholesale and the Head of Marketing to ensure enrolment into all Marketing InitiativesSpearhead the end-to-end implementation of innovative marketing plans tailored for Wholesale and Field stockists, enhancing Levi’s® brand presence and visibility. 
  • Develop Trade Marketing StrategyCraft and execute a robust Trade Marketing strategy that is in harmony with Levi’s® global vision and adapted to local market conditions, addressing the specific needs of each account. 
  • Maintain a 12-month strategic wholesale marketing calendar ensuring all activities are delivered on time and within budget
  • Cultivate Strategic RelationshipsBuild and nurture strong partnerships with key wholesale accounts to ensure collaborative marketing efforts yield effective outcomes, driving mutual success. 
  • Brand AlignmentEnsure all marketing initiatives resonate with Levi’s® global branding while being tailored to fit the nuances of the local market. 
  • Commercial Contribution: Design and implement marketing strategies that directly contribute to the attainment of wholesale sales targets, optimizing promotional efforts for maximum impact. 
  • Collaborative Communication: Foster open lines of communication with wholesale partners, gaining insights into their needs and adapting marketing strategies to drive shared goals. 
  • Align with Head of Wholesale and Key Account Managers on dilution management and planning key marketing activity within the dilutions allocated per Key Account.

 

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES 

 

The Trade Marketing Executive will have a proven ability to demonstrate the following: 

  • Trade Marketing experience, preferably with a fashion retail brand 
  • Extensive project management and account management experience 
  • Outstanding organisational skills and time management practices 
  • Strong and effective interpersonal and presentation skills 
  • Tactful and effective negotiator 
  • Ability to find creative, yet practical solutions to drive revenue and meet brand goals 
  • Extensive experience with budget management 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite is preferred 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

 

The Trade Marketing Executive will ideally possess tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business Management or a related discipline as well as have at least 3-4 years’ experience in Marketing with strong wholesale trade exposure
