About the role

As Total Rewards People Experience Lead, you will play a key global role in shaping and continuously improving how reward and mobility services are delivered across Convatec. Operating within our Convatec Business Services (CBS) model, you will translate Total Rewards strategy into simple, scalable, and high‑quality services that support colleagues and leaders around the world.
This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives in optimization, problem‑solving, and innovation, and who is passionate about improving colleague experience through smarter processes, strong partnership, and technology‑enabled solutions.
What you’ll do
In this role, you will:
Lead and develop a high‑performing global Total Rewards People Experience team, fostering engagement, capability growth, and strong ownership
Translate Total Rewards strategy into operational, scalable services, balancing global consistency with local requirements
Continuously improve Reward and Mobility services across areas such as compensation, benefits, recognition, wellbeing, and mobility
Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and modernize processes, partnering closely with HR Technology, Finance, and GBS Transformation teams
Act as a trusted partner to HR colleagues and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, compliant, and people‑focused services
Own service performance through clear KPIs, governance, and continuous improvement
Support a seamless colleague and manager experience across key lifecycle moments such as annual compensation processes, benefits changes, and employee movement
Contribute to enterprise‑wide improvements by connecting Reward services with broader People, Finance, and IT processes
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who brings both experience and mindset. You don’t have to tick every box, but you should bring strong capability in most areas below:
Significant experience delivering Total Rewards or People Operations services within a shared services or global delivery model
Strong understanding of reward and benefit administration and how it operates across different regions
Proven success in continuously improving services, including process optimization and automation
Experience working with HR or HCM systems and partnering with technology teams to improve service delivery
Confidence working with ambiguity, making decisions, and taking ownership end‑to‑end
Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate clearly with senior partners
A people‑centric mindset, with attention to detail and a passion for improving colleague experience
Fluent written and spoken English (additional languages are a plus)

Location & work setup
This role is open to multiple locations and will be aligned to local employment structures. It requires close collaboration across regions and time zones, with flexible working arrangements available depending on location. This role is based in Lisbon and will partner closely with global stakeholders to support enterprise-wide Total Rewards services.
