This senior individual contributor role reports to the HR Director and serves as a member of the HR Leadership Team
What you’ll do
Conduct deep-dive internal and external benchmarking using tools like BetterComp to identify pay gaps and ensure market competitiveness.
Partner with HR Business Partners and Sales Leaders to develop competitive pay and benefit packages for hires, promotions, and transfers.
Drive the annual design and launch of Sales Incentive Plans (SIP) for our ANZ salesforce, ensuring alignment with global principles and local sales strategy.
Collaborate with the "SIP Committee" and collaborate with Sales Operations to ensure plans are operationally supportable and correctly built into systems like Performio.
Own the Annual Remuneration Review and enable the end-of-year Merit and STI process, ensuring budget adherence, data accuracy in Workday, and strict adherence to governance rules.
Collaborate with and support HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders to resolve complex compensation issues and retention challenges.
Elevate Employee Benefits and manage our benefits portal and vendor relationships (e.g., BUPA) to ensure our benefits program remains relevant and valued by employees.
Compile quarterly and annual reports for the Board and SLT, covering attrition, gender pay gaps, and personnel trends.
Act as the regional representative in the global Rewards community, managing pre-briefings and seeking approvals for local exceptions to global guidelines.
Identify opportunities to improve business outcomes through creative rewards solutions that address current cost-of-living and talent trends.
Maintain the career platform, document processes for new role creation, and ensure total compliance with regional audit requirements.
What experience you need
Proven senior compensation experience in corporate organisations.
At least 5 years of experience designing and implementing Sales Incentive Plans (SIP) across multiple disciplines in a sales environment.
Specialised depth in compensation and total reward, benefits administration, and job evaluation methodologies gained in a corporate environment.
Professional proficiency in Excel (V-lookups, Pivot tables, horizontal lookups) with the ability to build and maintain complex calculation models independently.
Proven experience in building relationships with CFOs, Sales Leaders, and HR Directors, acting as a trusted advisor to influence decision-making.
Experience managing strict governance frameworks and providing evidence for global audits to ensure local compliance.
Direct experience using HRIS platforms (Workday preferred) and specific incentive calculation engines.
Experience managing rewards and compensation programs within a dynamic business.
