Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides education and training for Health Care Professionals. Plans, prepares, implements and evaluates training sessions in both formal and informal modes to promote competence and confidence in the use of Baxter products and therapies.

  • Provides first line phone and/or on site clinical / technical support / troubleshooting for equipment and products on an ad hoc basis to promote competence and confidence in the use of Baxter products and therapies.

  • Seeks support from the relevant member of the Business on an as required basis to facilitate timely and accurate resolution to customer perceived issues.

  • Plans, prepares, promotes, attends and delivers workshops, seminars and conferences as required. At all times only using pre-approved training educational materials.

  • Keeps accurate records of all educational activities. Ensures that all trainings are documented as per Baxter policy and procedure.

  • Provides support for the sales organization – coordinates and follows up on inquiries and request.

  • Trains new PD patients on general concept of end stage renal disease (ESRD), renal replacement therapies (RRT) and PD products.

  • Trains the APD patients (how) to use Baxter’s PD cycler and troubleshoot.

  • Implements patients retention programs with Renal team.

  • Supports and performs quality home visits for renal patients and sends home visit assessment to Health Care Professionals.

  • Reinforces treatment expectations established by the physician, reviews potential product benefits and side effects and reports adverse events and quality issues in a timely manner.

  • Consistently complies and implements all company policies, procedures and processes.

  • Actively participates in the process of quality improvement including suggesting and implementing improvements.

  • Develops and enhances relationships with all levels of external (e.g. nephrologists, intensivists and nurses) and internal customers to create beneficial outcomes for Baxter Healthcare.

  • Maintains and develops professional and educational credibility. Tracks the current updates/news in the field of professional competence.

  • Act as a trainer and mentor for less experienced Clinical Coordinators in the team. This includes regular train the trainer meetings, support to answer questions from HCPs regarding treatment management, best practice sharing and knowledge exchange in a structured way.

  • Further relevant responsibilities/ tasks as advised from time to time by your Manager.

Qualifications

  • Patient educator experience with knowledge / ability to interpret clinical papers.

  • Strong interpersonal skill.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.

  • Good command of English.

  • Good knowledge of MS Office environment.

Education and/or Experience

  • Nursing education or other medical equivalent is a nice to have.

  • Experience in the relevant therapeutic area e.g. Renal or Intensive Care.

  • Experience with Customer Relation Management and/or Sales Force Automation tools.

  • Driving license cat B.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The minimum salary for this position is 144 000,00 PLN annually. Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors, all of which are subject to change. This position may also be eligible for competitive benefits, discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentive.
