Compensation: Compensation is dependent on experience. The base rate for this position ranges from $28.00 - $30.00 /hourly.

General Summary:

Supervise payroll services activity specific to Stagehand labor for the Division of Arts & Venues, venues including Red Rocks, the Coliseum, and the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Provides Theatrical Services supervision for events in multiple venues.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage all stagehand labor calls and event billing estimates in the required daily timelines.

  • Onsite supervision and management of the stagehand crews and house crew members

  • Comfortable with communicating via phone calls and email.

  • Meet with daily payroll timesheets to Arts & Venues and Legends Global.

  • Meet daily Stagehand billing/payroll reports to Legends Global Finance.

  • Meet daily payroll process deadlines to ensure timely information to all entities (Arts & Venues, IATSE, Legends Global).

  • Work closely with Legends Global Finance and Production Managers (Legends Global or A&V) relating to Stagehand payroll issues.

  • Assist in Input and Maintaining House Crew schedules.

  • Maintain FTP files, functions and workbook templates.

  • Assist in TS administrative / payroll representation at venues as needed.

  • Review event documents and produce weekly department activity schedule to cover event needs related to payroll.

  • Maintain and administer Legends Global payroll policies and procedures.

  • Track and train, as needed, scheduling and daily labor sign in process for all Stagehand labor.

  • Back of House experience in concert/show industry

  • Assigned events as needed and will perform Production Manager duties on those events.

  • Monitor application of Legends Global / IATSE collective bargaining agreement.

  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma required, some college coursework preferred

  • Payroll/accounting experience required

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information

  • Ability to work under pressure that is dictated by event schedules and timetables.

  • Ability to create type and file correspondence on behalf of Legends Global Theatrical Services

  • Proficient at Word

  • Requires a high amount of driving and travel to City locations during events, must have dependable transportation.

  • Strong proficiency at excel spreadsheets.

  • Work effectively as part of a team and independently with limited supervision required.

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and inter-personal skills among all levels of staff and clientele required.

  • Ability to speak, understand and read English required.

  • Work effectively with diverse groups of people among all levels within an organization required.

  • Detail-oriented required.

  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills required.

  • Provide customer service in a professional and considerate manner required.
