Testing Expert - Humanoid Robot

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute component- and module-level tests for actuators, joints, and structural elements of humanoid robots. Select and develop appropriate testing methodologies, including static/dynamic load tests and endurance tests.
  • Design and fabricate test rigs and fixtures for mechanical and electromechanical components. Operate and calibrate measurement systems such as force/torque sensors, strain gauges, and motion capture systems.
  • Analyze test data to identify failure modes and recommend design or process improvements. Ensure all testing activities comply with relevant safety and quality standards.
  • Document test procedures and results, prepare technical reports, and present findings to cross-functional development teams.
  • Maintain and manage the testing environment, equipment, and instruments to ensure platform stability and measurement accuracy.
  • Monitor and interpret domestic and international standards related to humanoid robot components; contribute to the development of new national standards where applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in industry or academia.
  • Strong hands-on mechanical skills, including component assembly, handling, and troubleshooting. Proven experience in planning and executing tests for mechanical or mechatronic systems.
  • Solid knowledge of measurement technologies and data acquisition systems. Proficiency in CAD tools for designing test fixtures.
  • Familiarity with robotics-related standards and the ability to analyze testing challenges and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with humanoid or collaborative robots. Background in environmental and endurance testing.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as MATLAB or Python.
  • Understanding of functional safety requirements.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
