We are looking for a Tester who will be responsible for performing testing, commissioning, and on-site inspections in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and internal and external quality requirements. The role ensures that equipment functions in compliance with contractual obligations, with safety always maintained as the highest priority. Also , ensures customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality inspection results and maintaining proactive and effective communication with customers.

What will you do? 

  • Caring about safety on site by applying good safety practices.
  • Manage on-site communication with the customer for day to day testing and commissioning activities with continuous coordination with Field Supervisor.
  • Test the unit in accordance with the codes & standards to ensure it is mechanically and electrically safe, the internal and external KONE quality standards are Fulfilled, and the unit is in function according to contractual requirements.
  • Commission the equipment in accordance with agreed specification and commissioning instructions.
  • Carrying out final inspection and signing the final inspection documents.
  •  Perform or participate in the notified bodies or consultant inspections. Also participate in the customer handover if necessary.
  • Identify installation quality issues and deviations for corrective actions and report them to his Field Supervisor, who is responsible for all site activities.
  •  Actively participate in quality working groups to improve based on sang lists produced, other technical issues found during inspections and information sharing.
  • Apply lean principles to avoid interruptions at work and consistently follow and promote huddles initiatives.

Are you the one? 

  • ITI/Vocational Certificate course /Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Automation streams or equivalent.
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills.
  • 3-5 experience in a reputable elevator industry.
  • Effective communication skills.
