Engineer - Test Engineering, Product Development
The Group
ADI’s RF Semiconductors (RFS) group develops a wide range of high-performance PLL/VCOs and Clock Distribution products for Automotive, Industrial and Communications infrastructure. Our products deliver best-in-class performance for phase noise, jitter, and spurious emissions and feature high levels of integration in small form-factor packages. The RFS group will present many varied opportunities to the successful candidate for both technical and professional development.
The Position
The group is seeking an experienced Test Development Engineer to develop new product solutions for its latest Microwave PLL/VCO and Clock Distribution products.
The successful candidate will work as part of an experienced and supportive team, with close engagement with Design, Bench Evaluation and Application Engineers. The candidate is self-motivated, with a continuous learning mindset, a strong technical background and excellent communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop High-Performance Test hardware and software solutions to support first Silicon Verification, Characterisation, Qualifications and Release to the Manufacturing Test Site.
Contribute to Design for Testability (DFT), Built-In-Self-Test (BIST), definitions and development to support the reduction in Full Factory Cost (FFC) and improved testability.
Development of multi-site robust, comprehensive, cost-effective production solutions at Wafer Probe and Final Test.
Engaging and supporting offshore sites to coordinate Qualifications, maintain production yield, and ensure high-quality standards.
Manage and maintain project schedules that align with the product release date.
Qualifications/Experience
Bachelor's degree with experience in electronic engineering or equivalent. Ideally, 3 years of experience in RF and Mixed Signal Test Development is preferable.
The ideal candidate should possess a solid practical knowledge of both analogue and digital electronics and demonstrate initiative in identifying and resolving technical problems within a team environment.
High-performance mixed signal and/or high-speed PCB design is essential.
Strong ATE program development skills with experience in developing high-quality test methodology for Mixed Signal and/or RF applications. (Teradyne UltraFlex platform, preferably).
Demonstrated ability to work at a high level of performance independently and in teams.
