Job Summary: Support the Military's Quality of Life programs! The Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) department of Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) provides fitness, recreation, lodging and food and beverage programs for service members, their families, retired military and civilian employees. The primary function of the incumbent of this position is to perform cashiering tasks. Incumbent greets guests, escorts them to table and alerting server that table has been seated.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: Knowledge of cash handling procedures. Knowledge of basic arithmetic to compute charges, disperse change accurately, and prepare reports. Knowledge of MWR policies, rules, and regulations related to the assigned work area. Skill in providing excellent customer service obtained through prior experience and training. Ability to operate a point of sales system or cash register. Ability to competently and independently carry out day-to-day operations. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
