Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance existing regression test scripts for UI and API.
- Execute automated regression test suites to ensure application stability.
- Design and develop new UI and API test automation scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (developers, product owners, business analysts) in an Agile environment to ensure quality across the SDLC.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within QA practices.
- Challenge the status quo and contribute innovative ideas to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance and support.
- Lead test planning, strategy, and execution for complex projects.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely reporting of test results and defects.
- Drive adoption of best practices in test automation, CI/CD integration, and quality assurance.
Good To Have Technical Skills:
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in software testing and test automation.
- Proficiency in Java or similar programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, JavaScript).
- Experience with Loan IQ application or other relevant lending applications (preferred).
- Strong background in desktop application test automation.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes using tools like Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
- Solid understanding of API testing, UI testing, and performance testing.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and test management tools (e.g., Azure Test Plan, JIRA, TestRail).
