What Will You Do:
Oversee project scope, schedule, cost estimates, and risk management for facility projects.
Ensure facility designs comply with regulations, industry codes, and corporate standards.
Manage third-party engineering deliverables, monitoring budget and schedule adherence.
Review and approve design documents, technical reports, and material lists.
Evaluate vendor quotations and recommend selections based on technical and commercial criteria.
Lead facility commissioning activities as required.
Incorporate lessons learned into future designs.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.
Support and lead departmental initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
Who You Are:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) or Professional Technologist ( P Tech Eng) designation are preferred.
5 years of experience in the design and implementation of natural gas facilities, with a focus on mainline centrifugal compression and meter station design.
Effective interpersonal skills to communicate technical issues and impacts to other technical and non-technical staff.
Strong understanding of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and applicable codes.
Ability to review technical documents, evaluate vendor quotations, and recommend selections.
Knowledge of project scope development, cost estimation, and risk management.
Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
A valid passport and the ability to travel to the US for work.
Working Conditions:
Office based role.
Travel frequency is project-dependent, ranging from a few times per year to several times per quarter, with each trip lasting from a day to several days. Approximately 25% travel.
