The opportunity

Do you want to be part of a major transformation and help shape how product testing will be performed in a brand-new factory? We are now expanding our Operations in Västerås and entering a phase of significant volume growth. To meet future customer demand, we are building a completely new production setup, where outstanding quality will remain a key success factor.

Product testing is a critical part of securing final quality for our high-end electronic products, including Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) and high-voltage equipment. As a Test Engineer, you will play a key role in defining, improving, and scaling our test processes – from today’s production to the new factory planned to be fully operational in 2028.

The position is based in Västerås, Sweden.

How you’ll make an impact

• Be responsible for all test equipment within Operations, including availability, electrical safety, maintenance, documentation, and work instructions.

• Support current production by understanding and improving existing test setups.

• Be a key contributor in defining how product testing will be designed and automated in the new factory.

• Drive improvements in test coverage and test efficiency, from idea to implementation.

• Take ownership of test equipment reliability, including preventive maintenance.

• Support feeder factories with test equipment–related topics.

Your background

• 3–5 years of experience within software or hardware development, testing, or similar technical roles.

• Experience with electrical testing.

• Strong technical understanding of electronic products.

• Self-driven with good problem-solving skills.

• Fluent in English; Swedish communication skills required.
