As a Chapter Lead, you will play a dual role—contributing within Squads while also driving cross-cutting initiatives to advance engineering practices. You will lead, by example, coaching teams to develop and automate robust, adaptable, production-ready code. Through collaboration with developers, your work will enhance the digital banking experience for customers and staff.
As a leader in the engineering community, you will champion Agile and Continuous Delivery practices, stay informed on global industry trends, and bring best-in-class engineering approaches to ING. Additionally, you will actively participate in a Guild aligned with your expertise and ensure alignment across the Chapter.

What you’ll do …
Drive end-to-end software delivery across the full engineering lifecycle, from concept to production-ready solutions.
Develop secure, scalable solutions that perform reliably at enterprise scale.
Improve the engineering capabilities of the people in the Chapter and make sure they stay up to date with changing technology development.
Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability, mentoring engineers to become multi-skilled and promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Champion Agile practices and continuous delivery, contributing to IT strategy implementation and advancing engineering excellence within the chapter.
What we’re looking for…
Solid background in Agile and Continuous Delivery practices, with 5+ years in software development and technical leadership roles.
Advanced expertise in modern data applications with proven experience in end-to-end data integration solutions.
Hands-on experience with BI and visualization tools such as Business Objects, Qlik, or Tableau.
Strong proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter, SQL, and relational databases.
Proven leadership with the ability to develop technical and personal capabilities, prioritize and delegate effectively
