Job Title

Territory Manager - Ontario

About your role:

Clover, a Fiserv company, delivers merchant-facing point-of-sale and payment solutions that simplify commerce for businesses of all sizes. You will join the Clover commercial team focused on territory management of the bank branch network across the province of Ontario, with strong emphasis on travel between branches and markets. This role requires proactive self-sourcing—networking, prospecting, and cold calling to generate new business at the SMB and CMM levels—and full end-to-end ownership of the sales cycle to drive Clover adoption across your territory.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive revenue growth across an assigned Ontario territory by generating new business through bank branch relationships, in-branch prospecting, and frequent travel across the province.
  • Proactively source and qualify opportunities outside the bank through networking, outbound prospecting, and cold calling to build pipeline at SMB and CMM account levels.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to identify client needs, propose Clover POS and SaaS solutions, and manage the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting to close.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and commercial agreements with merchants and bank partners to close opportunities.
  • Maintain and manage a robust pipeline of prospects with consistent follow-up and stage progression using CRM and sales tools; take full ownership of pipeline health and forecasting.
  • Build market presence by developing, presenting, and closing new business relationships with merchants and channel partners.
  • Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software sales, including full sales cycle and contract negotiation.
  • 2+ years of experience in Merchant Services, Point-of-Sale, SaaS, or a similar field.
  • 4+ years of experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce for pipeline management and reporting.
  • 6+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Established network of banking contacts and branch relationships.
  • Experience closing mid-market and enterprise merchant accounts for POS or payment solutions.
  • Experience working with channel partners, ISOs, or referral-based bank sales models.
  • Familiarity with Clover platform configuration and merchant onboarding processes.
  • Experience using Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ in a commercial sales environment.

How you’ll work:

  • This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.
  • This role requires being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis.
  • This role requires flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.

Travel:

  • Approximately 60% field travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.

Sponsorship:

  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada to be considered for this position. The company is not offering visa or work permit support. Only candidates who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents or who hold a valid open work permit will be considered for this role.

Benefits at Fiserv:

  • Fuel Your Life wellness program with activities and rewards to support total well-being
  • Paid statutory holidays, Recharge & Refuel vacation (years-of-service tiers), and a Paid Sick Time program
  • No-cost, confidential support through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and household members
  • Recognition through Living Proof, with points redeemable for merchandise and gift cards
  • Eight Employee Resource Groups to build connection and inclusion
  • RRSP with 100% company match up to 5%, a Non-Registered Savings Plan (NREG), and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
  • Comprehensive extended health care and vision benefits, plus dental coverage
  • Company-paid Basic Life and AD&D, with optional life and AD&D coverage available
  • Company-paid Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability income protection
  • Emergency medical coverage for out-of-province/out-of-country travel via extended health benefits
