The J.B. Speed School of Engineering at the University of Louisville seeks a Temporary Part-Time Admissions Counselor to support recruitment and advising efforts for the Applied Engineering (AE) program during an active full-time staff search.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining continuity in recruitment, outreach, and advising—particularly for the ECTC 2+2 Applied Engineering pathway—and ensures prospective students receive timely, consistent support throughout the transfer and enrollment process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide on-site recruitment and advising support at Elizabethtown Community & Technical College (ECTC) for the AE 2+2 pathway
Conduct prospective student advising, pathway communication, and transfer planning support
Support classroom visits, recruitment events, and outreach activities at ECTC
Maintain consistent communication with prospective students, advisors, and campus partners
Assist with Applied Engineering outreach, communication, and event support on the Belknap Campus as needed
Respond to AE-related inquiries and assist with application and enrollment processes
Support recruitment continuity while the full-time admissions counselor search is underway
The position ends June 30th, 2026.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
