Job Summary:

Position Overview:
CF Industries is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our Administration Department in the Medicine Hat Complex. This temporary role will support administrative duties during our 2026 Maintenance Shutdown and assist other Administrative Assistants, including welcoming visitors. The Administrative Assistant will ensure all employees and contractors have badges and have completed the safety bootcamp, along with other preparatory tasks.

Job Description:

What you’ll do:

  • Enter contractors into HRIS system (Workday).
  • Coordinate site meals, including ordering food for 200 people from various vendors.
  • Ensure all contractors have completed the safety bootcamp and have badges.
  • File permits.
  • Provide backup support for other Administrative Assistants as needed.
  • Support site EHS activities by complying with all environmental, health, and safety policies/procedures and actively participating in EHS programs and initiatives.
  • Assist department staff with scheduling and arranging travel requirements using established company procedures and practices.
  • Assist in preparing special reports or other assigned activities as needed.

What you’ll bring:

  • Post Secondary education in an accredited Office Technology program.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with demonstrated knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work, plan, and make decisions independently with minimal supervision.
  • An understanding of strict confidentiality requirements along with strong organizational and computer skills (including Microsoft Office Suite).

This position is a temporary full-time role from approximately May 2026 to November 2026.
