As a Technology Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising the Resource Management team within the Technology Division. This team manages core datacenter and compute infrastructure, including storage, backup, virtualization, and related systems. You will oversee the day-to-day activities of your team, ensuring system availability, proactive capacity management, and timely incident resolution. In addition, you will perform technical operations alongside your team to stay connected to the tools, platforms, and processes they manage.
Here’s a snapshot of what you’d be doing:
Responsible for employee actions, including staffing, performance management, and development. Supervise the team, manage schedules, and assign duties. Coach and mentor employees on technical capabilities and work to remove cross-team roadblocks. Continuously monitor team performance for training and improvement opportunities.
Perform technical work as necessary, including troubleshooting, configuration, lifecycle management, and upgrades of storage, compute, and backup systems.
Ensure the team is prepared and capable of delivering on the next 3–6 months of prioritized technical work. Implement methodologies to improve the team’s workflow and recommend appropriate technology to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with other leaders to support cross-domain initiatives and ensure reliable datacenter operations.
Remain knowledgeable and up to date on trends in infrastructure management, automation, and datacenter operations.
Actively contribute to strengthening the team and culture by assisting with other duties as needed, excluding licensed activity.

Qualifications:
5+ years of information technology or related experience
1–3 years of experience leading or mentoring others, preferably within infrastructure or datacenter environments
Experience with compute, storage, backup, and/or virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Pure, Isilon, Cohesity, or equivalent)
Passionate about continuous learning through training and hands-on experience
Proficient in core infrastructure tools and concepts appropriate for an internet-based company
