If so, Guardian is seeking a Technology Practice Leader to provide technical and functional benefits technology expertise to support our distribution team and enable the sale of digital as a product.

You are:

An experienced and responsive leader who thrives in partnering with sales and broker teams with a solution owner mindset developing strategies to increase the adoption of our external digital integrations and promoting the value of our deep partnerships while delivering value and consistency.

You will:

  • Provide in depth technical and operational expertise of benefits technology platforms.
  • Advise, guide, and support Guardian’s Group Sales Representatives & Client Managers to enable the sale of digital as a product.
  • Support the roll-out of new benefits technology programs and relationships.
  • Develop business relationships with technology centers & experts with our top national and regional brokers to communicate and align digital strategies.
  • Promote Guardian’s capabilities and positioning of our value proposition.
  • Maintain awareness of competitive issues, trends, and opportunities in the marketplace.
  • Identify training opportunities and provide input into the development of training programs.
  • Act as a liaison with all internal Guardian departments (e.g., Product, Distribution, Underwriting, Customer Service Delivery, Marketing, & Training) to ensure end to end process success, provide subject matter expertise, and develop recommendations to improve integrated service models with third party benefits technology.

You have:

  • 3+ years related experience in distribution, account management, operations, financial analysis /pricing, product / marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Expertise working with third party benefits technology companies.
  • Certification in Project Management and/or Agile methodologies preferred.
  • Demonstrated relationship development, influence, and consultation.

Location:

  • The successful hire will be based in the Southwest Region. Preferred locations include proximity to Guardian's Regional Offices in Plano, TX and Newport Beach, CA. Also open to qualified talent in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas.

Travel

  • Approximately 25% travel required for visits to various field offices and key partners, as well as for finalist presentations.

Salary Range:

$99,150.00 - $162,885.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
