Role Overview 

Reporting to the Director of End User Computing, the Depot Specialist is responsible for the daily operations of Accordion’s hardware depot, managing the lifecycle of company devices including imaging, deployment, retrieval, repair coordination, and decommissioning. This role ensures that all equipment is prepared, tracked, and maintained according to company standards and supports a consistent, secure end-user experience across all endpoints.

This role will ideally be based in our Dallas office and is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage all depot activities, including receiving, inventory management, imaging, shipping, and returns according to policies set out by the Asset Manager
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware assets through ServiceDesk Plus and Endpoint Central
  • Prepare and image macOS and Windows devices in alignment with Accordion’s configuration standards
  • Partner with the End User Computing (EUC) team to coordinate device replacements, refresh cycles, and onboarding logistics
  • Handle device intake for offboarding, including data wiping and returns to stock or disposal
  • Support logistics for remote and on-site equipment deployment across Accordion offices
  • Assist in troubleshooting hardware issues and coordinating warranty repairs or vendor returns
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the physical depot and ensure compliance with security protocols
  • Provide timely updates on depot status, inventory levels, and outstanding requests

You Have:

  • 2–4 years of experience in IT depot operations, hardware asset management, or end-user support
  • Experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central and ServiceDesk Plus for inventory tracking and device management
  • Working knowledge of macOS, Windows, and Jamf Pro environments
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed (up to 40 lbs)
  • Proven track record of process adherence and documentation accuracy
  • Familiarity with imaging automation tools or mobile device management (MDM) solutions
  • Experience in hybrid or fully remote hardware logistics
  • Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) or other service management frameworks

The annual salary for this role ranges from: $60,000 to $65,000 + benefits + bonus (overtime eligible). Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.
