Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. The Technology Compliance Senior Advisor executes and oversees compliance with technology regulatory requirements, with a strong emphasis on AI governance and risk management. This role drives the intake, prioritization, and response to regulatory inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality submissions. Additionally, the advisor provides guidance on regulatory alignment, control evaluation, and the design and operation of Compliance Monitoring and Oversight programs.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Executes centralized intake and risk-based prioritization of regulatory inquiries, coordinating cross-functional responses that meet aggressive timelines while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit-ready quality of submissions.
  • Advises stakeholders on the applicability of technology regulatory requirements (e.g., AI governance, data privacy, model risk, cybersecurity) and translates them into actionable control expectations.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of AI tools, models, and platforms (e.g., generative AI, ML systems), including associated risks, controls, and governance considerations.
  • Designs, implements, and enhances Technology Governance processes for AI, including intake, risk classification, alignment with other technology domains, and lifecycle oversight.
  • Establishes and operates Compliance Monitoring and Oversight programs, including control testing, issue identification, and remediation validation.
  • Conducts risk-based reviews and audits of AI-enabled and technology-driven processes; performs interviews, gathers evidence, and documents results.
  • Evaluates the design and operating effectiveness of controls across technology, AI, and data environments.
  • Researches emerging regulatory expectations and industry practices related to AI and technology compliance.
  • Assesses risk across IT systems, AI use cases, and supporting operational processes; provides actionable recommendations.
  • Leads engagement planning, defines test strategies, documents findings, and drives remediation outcomes.
  • Develops governance artifacts, including Client Assistance Guides (CAGs), standards, procedures, and training materials.
  • Produces clear reporting, metrics, and executive-level summaries on compliance posture, risks, and issues.
  • Partners with internal and external auditors; responds to audit requests and supports regulatory inquiries.
  • Facilitates stakeholder alignment and resolves conflicts; escalates risks and issues appropriately.
  • Develops tools and frameworks to improve data collection, reporting, and audit efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 8 years experience in audit (information technology, operations or financial), desktop (MS Office-Excel, Word, Access, Project), audit and regulatory requirements and standards (PCAOB, CobiT, SAS70, SOX etc.); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) ), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public accounting (CPA), or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification required.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, & Experiences:

  • Experience with AI governance and risk management preferred.
  • Strong background in technology governance and control frameworks .
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and compliance.
  • Experience in a leadership role strongly preferred.
