A structured work environment:

  • Salary range 003: $63,000 à $78,700 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.);

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

Reporting to the Manager of External Warehousing Operations, the Logistic Technician plays a key role in managing inbound, outbound, and order shipments to external warehouses using various systems.

Working closely with the Inventory and Transportation teams, the role ensures transaction accuracy, lot allocation, and follow-up on uncollected orders. The technician is also responsible for managing the warehouse management system of the dairy distribution center for receiving, replenishment, and shipping activities, as well as welcoming drivers, while collaborating with several internal Agropur teams.

  • Executes and controls receiving and shipping transactions for both external and internal warehouses

  • Monitors overdue transactions

  • Sends orders to external warehouses

  • Manages lot allocation for internal orders

  • Follows up on uncollected orders with the Transportation and Customer Service teams

  • Manages the courier shipping system for sites under their responsibility

  • Manages order priorities in the warehouse management system and coordinates replenishment activities

  • Oversees the access control system and welcomes drivers

The level of rigor expected:

  • College diploma or bachelor’s degree in administration, logistics, operations, or a related field

  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook)

  • Proficiency in inventory management systems, notably SAP and Oracle, considered a strong asset

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English (English required to work with colleagues and clients in other Canadian provinces)
