This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency. The Operator II, Sterile Production Operations (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for managing complex production tasks related to processing ingredients and pharmaceutical products. You will operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, handle raw materials and finished products, and perform general maintenance. This role requires advanced technical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and adherence to procedures.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Manage complex production tasks related to processing ingredients and pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements
  • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment such as autoclaves, ovens, stills, filtration apparatus, and sterile filling equipment
  • Handle raw materials and finished products
  • Perform general maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) by inspecting products, following standard operating procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and addressing deviations and issues promptly
  • Participate in quality checks, process improvement initiatives, and complete all required training to meet individual job requirements and contribute to the overall compliance of the organization

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • Location: Onsite Fort Worth, TX
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm
  • Travel Requirements: 0 – 10%
