REQ14553 Technician, Security Systems (Open)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technician, Security Systems is responsible for the installation and maintenance of the Security equipment allocated to support Security, and Gaming Operations within the Company.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Equipment Installation
- Installs new SAC, HMS, Master Key systems and electronic equipment.
- Installation of electronic cabling systems, primarily coaxial, data and power cables through out the complex as required.
- Installation and termination of the above to a high standard.
- Applies appropriate testing to newly installed equipment to ensure sound functionality.
Equipment Servicing, Fault Finding and Repairs
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to all SAC equipment used to support Security, Police and Gaming operations.
- Responsible for issuance and configuration of Master and Sub-Master keys.
- Employs effective fault-finding techniques to rectify equipment failure.
- Ensure all repairs, including solder work, is conducted properly and is of a superior quality.
Equipment Failure Response
- On call 24/7.
- Plans for appropriate response to equipment failure.
- Evaluates and confirms reported failures.
- Instigates repair or rectification of defective equipment.
Inventory and Stock Control
- Ensures workshop stock and inventory levels are appropriately maintained and managed .
- Maintains cost effective use of stock and inventory.
Leadership and Initiative
- Shows personal initiative and involvement in all activities undertaken by the Security Technical team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of technical experience in a well-established Security Company
