POSITION PROFILE
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automated machines, requiring extensive knowledge of electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and control systems. This position is a second shift position but the candidate may be required to work other shift(s) based on operational needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
3+ years of experience as Maintenance technician within a metal working environment
Ability to use milling and lathe equipment required
Associates Degree in Engineering or Technology preferred
Candidates must be able to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems
Experience with paint line equipment will be a plus but not required
Experience with Robotic Welding and resistance welding will be a plus but not required
Must be able to read and interpret mechanical diagrams as well as electrical schematics
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays when needed
Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

Diagnose and repair production machines requiring mechanical, electrical and controls knowledge
Candidates must be proficient in preventative and predictive maintenance of welding equipment, CNC machines, stamping presses
Provide day to day operational support for production equipment
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment
Inspect and maintain electronic, hydraulic and mechanical systems used on production and support equipment
Responsible for various rebuilding production equipment
