Job Description:

The Site Maintenance Tech III is responsible for general maintenance of the buildings and workspace.  This role requires knowledge across multiple trades including electrical, plumbing, drywall, and mechanical systems.  This level of technician works independently, leads repairs and projects, and mentors junior maintenance staff to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient building operations.

Shift: 1st Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • General maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, touch-ups, and facility checks
  • Painting and prep work, to include surface cleaning, taping, and applying finishes.
  • Construction tasks such as assembling furniture, carpentry, shelving, and mounting fixtures.
  • Cubicle setup and configuration, including moving panels, adjusting layouts, and installing accessories.
  • Exterior and Interior lighting, to include emergency lighting systems.
  • Maintain and organized tool room, parts inventory, and materials.
  • Transport equipment, boxes, and office furniture
  • Ensure work areas are clean and safe during and after projects.
  • Follow all company safety and cleanroom procedures.
  • Support facilities team with other tasks as needed.     

Requirements/Qualifications:

Must have experience in:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Carpentry and structural framing
  • Electrical lighting systems (Ballasts, LED drivers, and controls)
  • Plumbing systems
  • Electrical Safety Qualified (NFPA 70E)
  • Quality Systems ISO 9100
  • Interpret electrical schematics
  • Lockout/Tagout knowledge
  • Preventative maintenance programs
  • Work order systems

Preferred Experience

  • Trade certifications
  • Modular wall systems (cleanroom / semiconductor environments)
  • Semiconductor fab experience or military mechanical/electrical background.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to wear cleanroom gear, respirators, and PPE.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry 50lbs, ability to push, pull, and drag 70lbs. Stand and walk 90%, sit 10%. Able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), cleanroom gear, and respirators.

The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $25-36/hr.*
