Role summary: The (USA) Technician, General Facilities Maintenance – Journeyman Plumber, is responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities and equipment. What you'll do: - Perform routine preventive maintenance on facilities, equipment, and fixtures following established schedules and guidelines.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair plumbing systems using blueprints, repair manuals, and appropriate tools.
- Conduct major and minor repairs across multiple crafts including plumbing, carpentry, and material handling equipment.
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor activities while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Document maintenance and repair activities, track parts and equipment orders, and submit warranty claims as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize work, share resources, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll bring: - Proven experience in preventive maintenance and general facilities repair, with a focus on plumbing.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Skilled in performing major and minor repairs using hand and power tools across multiple crafts including carpentry and material handling equipment.
- Ability to manage maintenance schedules, work orders, and contractor coordination effectively.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in documenting maintenance and repair activities.
- Ability to collaborate with teams and communicate clearly to support operational goals.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00*
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
