Job Summary: You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the COMBAT SYSTEMS TEST AND EVALUATION DEPARTMENT, WARFARE AREA TEST CONDUCTORS (C52) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

Major Duties:

  • You will lead and coordinate Tomahawk Test Activities. Serving as the focal point for all Tomahawk Weapon System (TWS) Test and Evaluation activities, coordinating with diverse stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and execution of test plans.
  • You will lead the development, review, and maintenance of comprehensive test plans, test scripts, test procedures, and test reports for Tomahawk, ensuring they align with program requirements and Test and Evaluation best practices.
  • You will provide technical expertise in the analysis of Tomahawk weapon systems performance and identify system limitations, anomalies, and trends in test data. Develop and recommend solutions and improvements based on data analysis.
  • You will lead the identification, setup, interconnection, and integration of test equipment and test systems for Tomahawk, including its integration with other combat systems. Oversee the efficient utilization of test resources.
  • You will lead and actively participate in technical working groups focused on test development, process improvement, and the development of innovative test methodologies and procedures for Tomahawk.
  • You will provide technical guidance and oversight to government and contractor personnel involved in Tomahawk testing, ensuring adherence to established procedures and program requirements.
  • You will ensure consistent adherence to Tomahawk test and evaluation procedures, including the use of test equipment and test software.
  • You will ensure that all deliverables meet customer and sponsor requirements, are delivered on time, maintain high quality standards, and remain within budget.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing, developing, testing, and recommending solutions of Tomahawk weapon systems performance to ensure seamless integration and execution of test plans ensuring they align with program requirements and best practices.
