Your role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technician to join our Connected Services Team. In this role, you will support both new and existing vehicle platform data collection while working closely with customer system and subsystem teams. You’ll contribute to implementing hardware connections and data collection strategies for various vehicle platforms, providing hands-on technical support and troubleshooting.
In your daily tasks you will:
• Assist Customers technicians with Aptiv device installations in vehicles.
• Provide hardware troubleshooting support for Aptiv devices.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot on CAN, CAN FD, and Ethernet communication issues in vehicles.
• Manage inventory of Aptiv equipment and related hardware.
• Collaborate with customer engineers to gather requirements for new vehicle
platforms.
Your Background:
• Knowledge of OBD, CAN UDS and automotive communication protocols, software validation, vehicle testing.
• Knowledge of passenger car industry, experience in Formula SAE teams or
theoretical knowledge on automotive are a nice to have.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with both external customers and internal management.
• Ability to understand how individual tasks fit into the larger testing process and impact other areas.
• Fluent Italian
• Good knowledge and ability in understanding, writing and speaking English
language. Other languages will be a plus.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electronic/Automotive Engineering or equivalent studies/experience
• Driving license
