Technical Training Specialist, Risk Management

About the Role. 

TheTechnical Training Specialist, Risk Management, will play a critical role in educating and empowering employees to deliver an exceptional Risk Management experience. This role will help foster a learning culture through the design and delivery of effective training, tools, and job aids that drive core PURE360 consultation and business outcomes. The position will report to the VP, Quality Assurance. 

What You’ll Do. 

The Technical Training Specialist will be accountable for delivering exceptional learning and development experiences for the department. Responsibilities will include projects to be executed independently as well as in partnership with subject matter experts. The work will encompass the following categories: 

Training Best Practices and Governance: 

  • Design comprehensive training programs, tools, job aids and additional supplemental documents (including but not limited to instructor-led training courses, facilitator guides, training videos, quick reference cards, computer-based training, job aids, etc). 

  • Assist the Risk Management Specialists to develop techniques and tools to empower them to become more effective peer educators. 

  • Collaborate with field leadership to support the development of new and existing employees through coaching, reinforcement, and accountability 

Onboarding:

  • Design a progressive new hire training program that brings to life the pillars of Risk Management and teaches staff what it means to be a Risk Manager at PURE. 

  • Ensure Risk Managers have the technical skills to successfully navigate our systems and processes. 

 

What we are looking for. 

  • 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development or a related field  

  • Strong instructional design skills with experience creating content across multiple formats 

  • Comfort working from concept through execution  

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills  

  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over quality  

  • Curiosity and a drive to continuously improve your craft 

  • Commitment to gain knowledge and skills required to be an effective partner to a technical function. 

  • Ability to travel regularly for training events and with field staff as needed.  

  • Organized approach to executing multiple projects simultaneously  

 

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with authoring and design tools (Articulate 360, Camtasia, Vyond, Canva, Adobe tools, or similar)  

  • Experience administering or supporting a Learning Management System (Workday Learning or similar)  

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools  

  • Familiarity in writing, editing, and general work with AI tools (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT, and/or Claude)

The base salary for this role can range from $55,000 to $70,000 based on a full-time work schedule. An individual’s ultimate compensation will vary depending on job-related skills and experience, geographic location, alignment with market data, and equity among other team members with comparable experience
