The role in a nutshell:

As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as a software detective, providing dynamic services by identifying and resolving issues across multiple components of applications. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include troubleshooting and resolving software-related problems to ensure seamless operations. You will provide global client support with excellent communication skills.

How you will make a difference: 

  • Handle client queries and issues effectively.

  • Participate in problem-solving discussions.

  • Provide timely resolutions to software-related issues.

  • Track daily Zendesk tickets and report to the manager.

  • Build strong relationships with other service personnel to ensure issues are addressed efficiently and users are kept informed.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve system problems.

  • Follow up on issue resolution by logging defects and enhancement requests, working directly with the Engineering team, providing root cause analysis, and documenting issues.

  • Log Jira tickets to the Engineering team for application-related issues.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the application support field.

  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts if required.

  • Basic understanding of SQL to troubleshoot database-related issues

What will give you an advantage: 

  • Handling client queries, resolving issues and participating in problem solving discussions

  • Able to provide timely resolutions to software-related issues.

  • Has experience in daily Zendesk tickets tracking and report to manager. 

  • The ability to work effectively with other engineers.

  • Good to have understanding how to work with APIs, web services.
