Job Summary
Lead field technical support for all CRM products across Hong Kong
Provide secondary clinical and technical support for Taiwan when required, especially for new therapy or new product launch
Deliver in‑procedure support for implantations, device programming, and follow‑up workflows
Serve as the primary education resource for electrophysiologists, cardiologists & healthcare professionals
Troubleshoot device performance and ensure adherence to Abbott quality and safety standards
Develop, execute, and manage training programs for internal field teams and external healthcare professionals
Support new product introductions with structured education plans and field deployment
Collaborate with sales and marketing to drive therapy adoption and customer satisfaction
Standardize training content and share best practices across Hong Kong and Taiwan
Support business objectives through clinical excellence, customer engagement, and operational efficiency
Job Responsibilities
Provide on-site clinical and technical support during CIED implantation (including Aveir as a new therapy development) and follow-up procedures.
Serve as the primary technical expert for physicians and clinical staff, ensuring safe and effective device use.
Troubleshoot technical and procedural issues in real time to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
Support post-procedure follow-up and device interrogation as required.
Develop and deliver structured training programs, workshops, and hands-on simulations for Cardiologists & Health Care Professionals (HCPs)
Provide continuous education on system updates, best practices, and procedural innovations.
Maintain high levels of clinical competency and certification in Aveir technologies (Aveir Accessor in Hong Kong & Taiwan).
Work closely with sales, marketing and clinical teams (e.g. IDE trails) to ensure aligned commercial and clinical execution.
Provide field insights to internal teams regarding product performance, customer feedback, and training needs.
Participate in cross-functional meetings, strategy planning, and regional training events.
Ensure all field activities comply with local regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
Document clinical activities, training sessions, and case support in accordance with CRM division guidelines.
Support complaint investigations and product feedback processes when required.
Deliver remote or onsite case support and education in Taiwan as assigned.
Assist in developing training frameworks and clinical readiness plans specific to Taiwan’s healthcare landscape.
Collaborate with the Taiwan CRM team to ensure consistency in Aveir clinical execution.
Requirements: Education and Experience
Sound industry and product knowledge
Ability to build a strong annual plan
Strong working knowledge of sales force process and ability to assess market drivers
Drive for Results
Ability to interface with key opinion leaders
Organizational Awareness; Strong Influencing and interpersonal skills
Excellent spoken and written of English and local language
Preferably with IBHRExam & Aveir DRC certification
