About your team

The Technology Controls Assurance (TCA) team is part of the Non‑Financial Risk & Enterprise Resilience function, a centralized global team responsible for providing independent assurance over Technology risk and compliance across Business and Technology functions. The team works closely with internal stakeholders, internal audit, and external auditors.

The scope of the TCA team includes maintaining oversight of coverage and compliance against Technology Policies and Standards; facilitating external audits and certifications to industry standards (such as ISO); supporting client‑led technology audits and responding to client questionnaires across Technology domains; and governing Technology controls, including monitoring, assessment coordination, and verification to ensure controls across Enterprise Technology functions are operating effectively.

About your role
As a Technical Specialist, you will act as a Technology compliance and control governance lead, responsible for managing and maintaining Technology compliance content within the enterprise GRC platform, ServiceNow IRM. This includes facilitating accurate mapping between Technology controls, enterprise Policies and Standards (Control Objectives), applicable regulations, and industry standards, as well as enabling transparent compliance reporting through PowerBI dashboards.

  • Enabling proactive and meaningful reporting of compliance against FIL Policies, Standards, industry standards, and regulations
  • Managing, maintaining, and enhancing PowerBI dashboards used to demonstrate compliance status, coverage, and trends for internal governance and audit purposes

This role requires candidates to be intellectually curious and able to quickly understand Technology environments and control requirements across different teams. You will lead and facilitate discussions with geographically distributed Technology teams to support ongoing assessments, compliance alignment, and adherence to FIL Policies and Standards. The candidate must be a strong team player, able to work collaboratively with global Technology, Risk, and Assurance stakeholders.

  • Delivering training, user support, and continuous education to promote effective use of compliance tools and sustained policy adherence
