As a Technical Services Technician, you will provide practical technical support and product information for industrial circuit protection solutions in the Energy Infrastructure & Industrial (EII) business unit. You will be part of the Techline team, helping internal and external customers via phone and email. This role also supports basic engineering documentation, product performance tracking, and the creation of training and technical content for sales and marketing teams.
About the Job:
Provide day-to-day technical support for customers, answering questions on fuse and circuit protection solutions via phone and email.
Assist in generating fuse performance data and maintaining product information.
Help create and update basic engineering blueprints and technical documentation.
Support Engineering Change Order (ECO) processing and product updates.
Contribute to the development of technical and training materials for sales, marketing, and customers.
Serve as a helpful first point of contact for customers, providing friendly and accurate technical guidance.
About You:
Associate’s degree in Computer Technology, Electronic Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Some customer service experience and interest in technical problem-solving.
Basic knowledge of electrical or electronics concepts is helpful but not required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Good communication skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Friendly, organized, and able to support multiple tasks effectively.
