Technical Service Engineer

Ketjen is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer.

Job description:

• Provide technical services to hydroprocessing units running with Nippon Ketjen catalysts, including troubleshooting, performance monitoring and case studies for value creation
• Lead on-site support for start-ups, troubleshooting and catalyst loading
• Make regular visits to customers for technical discussions and intelligence gathering
• Provide technical expertise for sales negotiation planning and value-based selling of Nippon Ketjen catalysts
• Provide market intelligence on oil refining and catalysts to business and management teams in order to develop new sales opportunities
• Participate in internal/external technical seminars and training sessions

Credential (Qualification)

• Academic level of Bachelor or higher in Chemical Engineering, Catalysis, Material Science, and/or relevant disciplines is a must
• Technical expertise and skills cultivated in petroleum refining, hydroprocessing and/or chemical industries for 4 years+
• Credential in experiences of oil refining process engineering, catalytic engineering/development, and refinery asset engineering projects
• Credit for skills in marketing, sales and/or business executions in the above-mentioned industries
• Commercial affinity and/or experiences in technology and product marketing, technical services and/or business development
• English proficiency in business level is a must (verbal, writing)
• Entrepreneurship, customer-oriented spirit, self-driven motivation is a plus
• The candidate must be prepared to travel often (20+ traveling weeks/year)
