Hitachi Energy Ireland has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Technical Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and expand market share for Hitachi's innovative solutions. This role is crucial in achieving ambitious sales targets and fostering strong client relationships, we invite you to join us as and apply.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets and business objectives.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including market segmentation, lead generation, and strategic account planning.
  • Manage key client relationships, understanding their needs and ensuring the successful delivery of Hitachi's products and services.
  • Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, presentations, and contracts to prospective and existing clients.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product development.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and technical support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Forecast sales, analyze sales data, and report on sales performance to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive sales experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the technology, industrial, or B2B sector.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data to make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
