Who you are

Metropolis is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Recruiting Coordinator to support our high-volume technical hiring efforts. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a seamless candidate experience while enabling our Technical Recruiters and Hiring Managers to operate efficiently at scale.

You will manage complex interview logistics, maintain ATS integrity, support recruiting reporting, and gradually take ownership of background check and onboarding coordination processes. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, comfort operating in fast-paced environments, and the ability to manage multiple moving pieces simultaneously. While the primary focus will be supporting Technical Recruiting, this role may also flex to support business hiring as needed.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate high-volume, multi-stage technical interviews across multiple time zones
  • Partner closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to ensure timely candidate progression and efficient interview planning
  • Maintain accurate candidate data across systems, including but not limited to Greenhouse, Workday, and Dayforce
  • Manage job postings, requisitions, and status updates within ATS and HRIS platforms
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, ensuring thoughtful and timely communication
  • Track interview feedback and support recruiter reporting needs
  • Support coordination of background check, coordination and onboarding handoffs
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to increase speed and quality of hiring operations
  • Support broader Talent Acquisition initiatives as the team scales

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR operations, executive assistant, or a similar high-volume administrative environment
  • Proven ability to manage high volumes of interview scheduling with speed and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Systems-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate multiple platforms simultaneously
  • Experience using ATS or HRIS platforms such as Workday, Dayforce, Greenhouse, or similar systems
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and comfort working with technical stakeholders

While not required, these are a plus:

  • Experience in supporting reporting and tracking of pipeline and other recruiting metrics
  • Experience supporting technical or engineering hiring strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

The anticipated hourly pay for this position is $22.00 USD to $32.00 USD. The actual hourly pay offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base salary is one component of Metropolis' total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans, and more. #LI-NM1 #LI-Onsite
